While the season may have ended with a first round exit from the playoffs for the Thunder, Westbrook continued to show why he is one of the best finishers at the rim. Almost common place for the 29-year-old at this point in his career as highlight reel dunks like his slam on Thon Maker is a given like death and taxes.
9. Jarrett Allen has Brooklyn Grit
The rookie out of Texas may have not lit up the scoreboard but when he did put the ball in the basket he turned heads. A premier shot blocker as a rookie, Allen consistently made his presence known around the rim wether it was swatting shots or throwing it down.
8. James Johnson Brings the Heat
An unlikely name for this list, the Heat’s enforcer can make his name known when necessary. The swiss-army knife basketball showed how he really can do it all on the court.
7. Demar Derozan says hell and goodbye to Tolliver
An MVP-like season for the Raptors star, Derozan has been known as an elite dunker throughout his career. While he may have been putting up more three’s than usual it has not hampered his ability to throw it down one bit.
6. The Greek Freak Plays Leap Frog
What can’t he do? There is a reason Antetokounmpo is nicknamed the greek freak, a fitting name for a man that is literally jumps over NBA players.
5. Big Air for the Big Baller
While his rookie season may have no resulted in a playoff appearance, Lonzo Ball made plenty of highlights. When he wasn’t dishing out dimes he could be seen with some big time slams.
4. Jordan Bell Rubbing Dirt in the Wound
Nobody likes a show off, especially late in the game but how can you blame a guy with an unreal ability to dunk. While the Mav’s may have not liked this slam nearly everyone else did.
3. Donovan Mitchell puts it way back
The potential rookie of year the year and 2018 dunk contest winner, Donovan Mitchell took the league by storm. Leading his team in scoring as a rookie in large part thanks to his hustle and plays likes this.
2. Don’t Mess with the King
Did you really expect a top ten list with LeBron James? While James does nearly everything well on the court one can’t help but be even more impressed when he throws it down with authority.

When you put the defending NBA Finals mvp on a poster you get yourself in the papers and your name atop this list. Nance Jr. has been a dunking machine since he has entered into the league and perhaps his best jam of his career came this season over Kevin Durant.
