19-year-old French sensation Kylian Mbappé is one of the most gifted young Soccer players in the world. Since coming onto the scene of the senior squad of the French National Soccer Team, he’s made a strong impact and he played a major role in helping France win their second World Cup title after a 20-year drought.

This tournament will certainly impact his future as well as his legacy. Mbappé has yet to reach his prime and he’s already lifted the ultimate prize in the sport of Soccer. He’s already accomplished something that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have not done, winning a World Cup.
It’s not often the world gets to see a teenager help their country lift a World title. This is one of the many things Mbappé is going to be remembered for. Because of his unique mentality and skills, many were convinced that Mbappé could help France become World Champions again. In other words, he’s their beacon of enlightenment.
Winning the World Cup means that his legacy is going to be remembered and he will go down as one of the most accomplished players in history. Since he’s only 19 years of age, he can add to an already strong legacy on that will be marveled by future footballers and spectators. Future footballers will look up to him just as he looked up to players from the past.
Mbappé scored his first World Cup goal in France’s 1-0 win against Peru in the Group Stage, becoming France’s youngest World Cup scorer. In France’s 4-3 win against Argentina, he scored two goals becoming the second teenager in history to have a multi-scoring game in a World Cup knockout match, joining Brazilian legend Pelé. In the final against Croatia, Mbappé scored his fourth goal in the tournament, becoming the youngest player to score in a World Cup final again since Pelé did it in 1958.
Mbappé’s accomplishments and style of play have earned him some strong praise and he’s been compared to French Soccer Legend Thierry Henry, as well as Pele and Messi. However, Mbappé, himself doesn’t focus on comparisons and just simply does his talking by stepping on the pitch and putting on a show.
Mbappé has come a long way from growing up in a poor and rough suburb in Paris to emerging as a superstar in soccer. He’s certainly on the verge of becoming a national hero for France.
Mbappe says it took hard work, dedication, and practice for him to get to where he is. His desire to continue to learn and improve will be one of the biggest keys to having an everlasting, yet influential legacy. In addition, Mbappé is adding to his public image as he made a remarkable move following the World Cup final. He donated his entire World Cup salary and bonus to a charity for hospitalized and disabled children.
He is only 19 and the pride and joy of France. The speedy youngster is gracing the pitch and is moving with grace off of it with selfless acts. Mbappé’s legacy has only just begun.
